What is the Emotional Freedom Technique?
EFT stands for The Emotional Freedom Technique and as the name suggests, is a powerful tool that can help process and shift emotions.
These emotions surface to give us a sign of what needs to be healed and usually link back to unresolved/unprocessed issues, trauma and events from our past. These unresolved issues then cause energetic blocks and can then manifest in other ways such as physical ailments or even reoccurring events in our lives.
EFT involves gently tapping on energy meridians whilst combining exposure and cognitive therapy to create a powerful space that has the ability to get to the root cause of ailments and free you from your emotional burdens.
Energy meridians have used in traditional acupuncture for over 5,000 years to treat emotional and physical ailments and their importance has been well documented.
This combination of tapping on meridians and voicing what is going on for you works to ‘short-circuit’ the emotional block from your body and is an effective way to address emotional overwhelm, addictions, pain or past trauma.
Our subconscious has the key to release what no longer serves, making way for new, fresh experiences to enter our world and tools like this help us unlock them.
In an EFT session, we gently go into the stuff unver the stuff. This essentially means that when we come in with one issue, there is always things underneath this that are where the real gems are hidden.
Tapping and talking unblocks meridian energy channels within the body and gives us access to our subconscious through memories, emotions, feelings and thoughts.
During a session you may experience just that, memories randomly popping up. Realisations about your current circumstances. Thoughts about your situation. The answers lay within yourself and it is my job to help get you there.
Other things you may experience are:
Release of supressed emotions,
Energy moving through your body,
Physical feelings such as tingling, butterflies in stomach etc.
Feeling your inner child come up,
Positive and ready to move in the right direction.

Price, length, and structure
An average session is between 1 to 1.5 hours.
$120 per session.
An EFT session will begin with a warm welcome and a brief intro to tapping. We then move into a discussion about your life and what has brought you to me.
I will then get you to focus on your body sensations and observe what emotions are arising around the subject we are discussing. This is where the magic happens.
When we start to truly feel what needs to be felt in a safe space, we are letting it go instead of suppressing it.
Next, I will start to repeat some phrases while showing you where to tap and will get you to follow along.
Throughout the session, we will tap, talk and move gently into the underlying causes of the ailments you are currently facing.
The beauty of this work is that as you tap, your subconscious will start to give you some clues such as memories, other feelings or even thoughts. These are the hidden gems that point us in the right direction of what is really going on.
The session ends with us tapping positive affirmations and we wrap discussing how the session went for you.
